Mike Jakob - Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer

Mike Jakob is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Sportvision. Mike is responsible for the company P&L, product & business unit management, media production, finance & accounting, human resources and pr & marketing. Mike works closely with the CEO, the Board of Directors, and the rest of the Executive Management team to define the organization's future strategic direction and develop creative approaches to Sportvision’s business opportunities. As COO, Mike has primary accountability for implementing these strategies and ensuring that the goals are met. As CFO, Mike is responsible for shaping Sportvision’s financial direction and building the financial infrastructure for company growth.

Prior to joining Sportvision, Mike was COO for Ignite Sports. Before joining Ignite, Mike was Director of Sears Online for Sears Roebuck & Co. In this position, Mike had overall responsibility for management of all eCommerce initiatives for SEARS.com, including external partnership development, and worked with Sears’ Executive Team and internal business units to understand their business objectives and oversee the process of prioritizing and bringing new product categories online. Mike also served Sears’ Home Services division as Manager of Strategy & Business Development. Before joining Sears, he worked as a management consultant for both A.T. Kearney and Peterson Consulting. Mike earned an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago, and a BBA in Finance from University of Notre Dame.
